The Texas Public Information Act (TPIA) grants the public the right to access information maintained by government entities, including the Southwest Management District.
Making a Request
To submit a request, simply complete the form below or send a written request to the District. Requests must ask for existing records — the District is not required to create new documents, compile data, or answer questions.
For your request to be valid under the TPIA, it must be submitted in writing and directed to the appropriate records custodian. Requests sent by email or fax must be properly addressed to ensure timely handling.
