2020 Back to School Drive: SWMD thanks the Alliance for Being a Good Partner

The Alliance was proud to partner with PlazAmericas Mall to host the annual Back to School Drive on August 18, 2020. We distributed school supply bags to 3,000 area students, over 550 fresh produce boxes, and other giveaways from a number of local businesses and nonprofit partners. Ronald McDonalds House of Charities of Greater Houston/Galveston and Texas Children’s Hospital provided free immunizations to help students get ready for the school year.
