The Southwest Management District has welcomed a new locally owned business dedicated to making insurance simpler and more personal.
AAA Insurance Center, located at 8282 Bellaire Blvd,Suite 123,opened its doors this Spring with a mission to help individuals, families and business owners protect what matters most.
As an independent broker,AAA Insurance Center is not tied to a single carrier.Instead, the team works with hundreds of top-tier insurance companies to find plans that fit each client’s needs and budget. This “one-stop-shop” model allows the agency to tailor coverage so clients don’t pay for what they don’t need or miss out on the protection they do.
The firm offers a wide range of coverage options, including auto, homeowners, renters, commercial and business, life and health insurance.

Owner Katie Nguyen brings more than 15 years of professional experience to the business.
Originally from Vietnam,Nguyen moved to the United States in June 2022 and worked as an HR Team Leader for VinFast US,the Vietnamese electric vehicle company,in North Carolina. She later relocated to Houston, where she gained further leadership experience as a Branch Manager,Marketing Manager and General Manager for a merchant services provider.
Through that work, she saw firsthand how essential insurance is for both individuals and small businesses, and how many people felt overwhelmed by it.
“I realized insurance is always in demand, but people often don’t have someone they trust to guide them,” Nguyen says.“I wanted to build a place where clients feel heard, supported and confident in the protection they choose.”
Nguyen chose the Southwest District and the Bellaire Boulevard corridor because it is a cultural and economic hub,she said.
“Southwest District is the ‘hometown’ of Asian American mixed communities,” Nguyen explains.“Houston is the second largest Vietnamese community in the U.S.I saw the potential to build my business here not only because of the diversity and business-friendly environment, but also the entrepreneurship and leadership of the people in this area.”
AAA Insurance Center aims to be a trusted partner for new arrivals to the U.S.,navigating insurance for the first time;established families reviewing and updating their coverage;and entrepreneurs and small business owners seeking protection for their operations.
While AAA Insurance Center is headquartered in Houston with this first location,Nguyen envisions developing a franchise insurance model that could expand into all 50 states.
AAA Insurance Center invites the community to stop by,ask questions and discover how the right insurance plan can truly “unlock your peace of mind.”
