Camp HBU Recap: A Summer to Remember
Earlier this month, 79 campers attended the week-long Camp HBU. Campers took part in community service at the Houston Food Bank, lived in the dorms, had a fun day at a Skeeters baseball game and enjoyed lots of recreation time led by HBU’s Veterans Association and Husky Hype, and worshipped with music led by HBU students and Nathan Muhand, the camp pastor. Additionally, they were able to choose between eight different extra-curricular sessions and eight different academic sessions. It was an incredibly successful week! In the end, we had 16 campers commit or recommit their lives to Christ!

Huskies Give Big
Friday, August 30
HBU’s annual day of giving, Huskies Give Big, is an opportunity for the Husky community to join together to support the current and future generations of HBU students. Whether that be supporting a program, school, college, department, sports team, or scholarship, gifts of any amount given on August 30th will be matched by Susan and Rick ’83 Redding up to $50,000.
