Planned improvements of the Sharpstown Community Center and successful law enforcement efforts against prostitution on the Bissonnet Track were among the topics discussed today (Jan. 29) when Management District board members met with newly re-elected District J Council Member Edward Pollard, center, and his chief of staff, Paul Young (far left) at Arco Seafood Restaurant.

They emphasized the need to continue public safety advances throughout the District and intensify efforts to enrich the area’s “brand” as the home of Houston’s most diverse population and cuisine — as well as Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital, Sharpstown, Chinatown, the Gandhi District, Houston Christian University, the Harwin and Richmond Avenue corridors and so much more.
