Peter Acquaro, Southwest Management District public safety committee chairman, center, joined Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg, Crime Stoppers of Houston staff and Houston police today (July 12) for the announcement of an increase to $15,000 for tips leading to the arrest of fugitive human trafficker Thaddeus Allen, 34.
The original Crime Stoppers reward offer in April was $5,000 as police seek to re-capture Allen, whom the district attorney’s office has labeled “a notorious pimp.”
The Southwest Management District and the adjacent Brays Oaks Management District now have each contributed $5,000 more, saying their wide-ranging public safety projects — designed to foster further economic development in southwest Houston — include assisting authorities in cases like this one. Allen was known to operate on the southwest side.

“This reward shows how seriously we in law enforcement and local community groups are taking the fight against human trafficking and the sex trade,” Ogg said. “Allen makes his living off the degradation and abuse of young trafficking victims. Now we want him back to serve his sentence.”
