Long Coffee at 10611 Bellaire Blvd. will host a Harris County Sheriff’s Office informational event 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday, May 3, for people interested in being hired as detention officers, 9-1-1 communications officers or deputies. HCSO staffers will be present to answer employment questions.
