This session will begin with a panel discussion with SBA approved lending representatives and mentors/advisors from SBA’s Resource Partner Network. Lenders will discuss how they make loan decisions and steps you can take to mitigate challenges to accessing capital. Resource Partners will discuss how they help small businesses with business planning, market research, finding customers, and more! Attendees will then meet with lenders and mentors in small break-out sessions to answer questions specific to your needs. This event is in collaboration with the Emancipation Economic Development Council (EEDC).

During this fireside chat, hear from representatives from SCORE Houston and the SBA Office of Disaster Assistance (who will discuss disaster preparation and low-interest federal disaster loans available to businesses) and a local insurance agent (who will provide an industry perspective to prepare for a disaster).
