A contractor for the city of Houston is scheduled to remove a canopy from the Sharpstown Community Center during the first two weeks of May. Access to the north/northeast side of the building, facing the golf course, will be restricted for part of the time. Patrons and staff of the golf pro shop and the Prince’s Hamburgers restaurant, and users of exterior-facing restrooms and storage areas, should use the side entrance on the west side during the restriction.
