White House is excited to announce the Infrastructure School: Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Guidebook Webinar Series!
With the signing of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law in mid-November, President Biden marked a new era of building a better America together. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is historic in its size – the largest ever investments in broadband, rail and transit, clean energy, and water, just to name a few – as well as the breadth of programs and sectors included in the law. Implementing the largest investment in our nation’s infrastructure in generations will require deep partnership alongside Members of Congress, Governors, Mayors, Tribal leaders, local officials, and community members.
Our goal is for you—communities all across America—to take full advantage of the opportunity this new funding presents.
To help partners better understand the programs within the guidebook, we’re launching, Infrastructure School, a series twelve webinars over the coming weeks that will provide an in-depth look into the programs contained within each of the twelve major chapters in the guidebook.
The Biden-Harris Administration remains committed to building a better America– creating good middle-class jobs, supporting disadvantaged and underserved communities, advancing climate resilience and sustainability, and investing in American manufacturers. It is our hope this resource is another step forward in our work together to build a better America.

Nine years ago, H-E-B introduced an exciting program called H-E-B “Quest for Texas Best,” which is an opportunity for local, small, women and minority food, beverage and non-food suppliers to have their items considered for our shelves. The top finalists have a chance to win substantial prize money for finishing in the top four. I’m happy to say that many of the entrants’, finalists’ and winners’ products have been placed on H-E-B shelves to date and are building sales momentum.
Since launching the contest in 2014, H-E-B has reviewed more than 4,500 samples of the most creative and mouthwatering Texas-made food and beverages, deemed more than 750 unique products worthy of shelf placement and awarded nearly $1 million in prize money, marketing, supplemental support, and mentoring.
The open solicitation for product ideas will start on February 23rd through April 7th, 2022 at 4:59:59 p.m.
Interested food and beverage suppliers will have a chance to use our online portal to submit their exciting products and creative ideas. Like the past eight years, H-E-B Business Development Managers will cull through the entries. The top finalists will present to a panel of judges, who will determine the Grand prize, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, which is slated for the August timeframe.
We are asking you to share this opportunity with your members and stakeholders on your website and in your marketing venues.
