You’re Invited: Community Conversation on the COVID-19 Omicron Variant

Dear Neighbor,   As I mentioned in my last e-mail to you, many of our neighbors in TX-07 have contacted me with questions and concerns about the Omicron variant, and how we meet the challenges it presents.    This Tuesday, January 25, at 6:00PM, I will host a virtual Community Conversation on the Omicron Variant with special guests Dr. Peter Hotez and Dr. David Persse.     Please mark your calendar and join us to learn more from these community leaders and ask questions in this webinar-style conversation.   Of course, the best way to protect yourself and our community is to make sure you’re fully vaccinated and boosted—find a vaccine at Vaccines.gov.  And with expanded testing, including free at-home test kits now available for order delivery at COVIDTests.gov and the Houston Health Department’s additional testing sites across our community, including one in TX-07, access to testing continues to grow.
