Memorial Hermann is partnering with Epiphany Community Health Outreach Services (ECHOS) to host a 2-day vaccination clinic on March 31 and April 1, where we plan to vaccinate approximately 1,800 individuals in Southwest Houston.

ECHOS Event Details

  • Dates/Time:
    • March 31 – 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
    • April 1 – 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Location: Epiphany Community Health Outreach Services (ECHOS) – 9600 S. Gessner, Houston, TX 77071
  • Event registration: ECHOS and other community partners worked directly with their clients to schedule vaccination appointments at the 2-day event. To register for vaccination at Memorial Hermann, please complete the online COVID-19 Vaccination Request Form.
 
 
If you’ve have missed rental or utility payments due to being impacted by the pandemic, apply for assistance from the Houston-Harris County Emergency Rental Assistance Program. Assistance will NOT be first-come, first-served.  To receive help over the phone, call 832-402-7568.

At Tuesday’s Rent Assistance and Legal Aid Drive-Through Event, we served over 400 families!

Our sincere gratitude goes out to the AFL-CIO, South Texas School of Law, Houston Volunteer Lawyers, Lone Star Legal Aid, Catholic Charities, the Houston Housing and Community Development Department, the Houston Internet Technology Services Department, Good News Church, Heads Up Houston, The Betterment Project, Al-Noor, PVAMU Community Development Graduate Students, Theta Chi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Eta Rho Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Houston Area Urban League, Alief Family Engagement, Texas State Rep. Gene Wu, and the District F HOT Spot Team.  This would not have been possible without our partners and volunteers!

 
On Tuesday, March 30th, Council Member Thomas presented a surprise proclamation to Dr. Edna L. Kingsley for her tireless work in the community, particularly with food distributions in Alief.
 
On Wednesday, March 31st, Council Member Thomas dedicated her pop-off comments to thanking our partners and volunteers at Tuesday’s Rent Assistance and Legal Aid Drive-Through Event and informing the District F community of food distributions taking place on Saturday, April 3rd.

Westpark Paving and Drainage

Super Neighborhood 25 has applied for a $5K grant to support the Alief Community Garden and needs your help!  Please consider voting for the Alief Community Garden on this website! The voting period will close on April 7th at 8AM. Voting results will be taken into consideration in addition to the grant application submitted.
 
On Wednesday, March 31st, a farewell reception was held for outgoing HPD Chief Art Acevedo.  We thank him for his service to our city and wish him nothing but the best in Miami.

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
 

You are invited to participate in a survey to collect information about COVID-19 vaccine eligibility. This online survey should take about 2-10 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary, and responses will be kept confidential to the degree permitted by the technology being used.

If you qualify for the COVID-19 vaccine under Phase 1A, 1B, or 1C, please click on the image to fill out the survey and provide the District F office with your information so that we can keep you updated on vaccine availability. This data will be shared with the Houston Health Department (HHD). Bedbound residents and seniors aged 90+ are currently being prioritized.
