The District F Community Clean-Up event on Saturday was an overwhelming success thanks to our partners and community volunteers. Together, we cleaned and mowed nearly 100,000 square feet of an easement on Spring Grove Dr over the course of a single morning. Thank you to Keep Houston Beautiful, Houston ToolBank, our HOT Team, Alief Super Neighborhood Council, Heads Up Houston, Rho Theta and Theta Chi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc, Vice Mayor Pro Tem Martha Castex Tatum, the E. L. Kingsley Foundation, Precision Works Lawn Services, and the 56 volunteers (young and old) who saved us over $4,000 in taxpayer funds by donating their time. |
|
We would also like to give a shout-out to Barbara Quattro and the volunteers for Super Neighborhood 25’s Tree Trimming event this past Sunday.

The trees along Alief Clodine between Boone and Kirkwood are looking great!
