Thank you Mayor Sylvester Turner for the supportive words and for joining the Southwest District on Saturday as we worked with many great partners, including Houston Food Bank, the U.S. Census Bureau and Memorial Hermann Southwest to distribute food, masks, health info and Census 2020 info at Good News Full Gospel Fellowship Church.
Also, thank you Houston City Council Members Tiffany D. Thomas and Edward Pollard for celebrating your birthdays in this special way serving our community.
Reaching at-risk populations and all other members of the public is crucial in the effort to curb the pandemic, especially as southwest Houston has been determined to contain “hot zones” for the spread of COVID-19.
