CIP PROJECT UPDATE
CHELFORD CITY DIVERSION PACKAGE #1:
MARCH 9TH, 2020 UPDATE

Our office has been informed that Traffic Operations has agreed to implement a combination of signal timing and lane use changes to alleviate traffic on Westpark Dr starting Monday, March 9th:

  • The signal is currently running split-phase operations (4 phases/cycle) and will be modified to run 2 phase operations.
  • The 2 phase operation will restrict Westbound and Northbound left turns with a permitted left turn operation on Southbound and Eastbound.
  • The use of police officers will be considered as an option if these options don’t improve the operation at the signal.

This plan will be evaluated after a week and we will provide updates once a new plan is in place.

For more details regarding this Capital Improvement Project, including timelines, please click on the map below.
