Park Amenities

Adjacent to the community center building, Lansdale Park offers a playground, 0.33-mile hike and bike trail, and an outdoor basketball pavilion.

Rentals

Community Centers would be a great place to host special gatherings such as wedding receptions, family reunions, and parties for a nominal rental fee. Not all facilities are designed to accommodate all events, so please contact each individual facility to ensure that facility can accommodate your event. Deposits are required and are refundable.

Community center rental reservation forms must be completed and payments must be received in the Permits Office the earlier of 10 days after the rental reservation is completed or at least 7 days before the scheduled event date. This includes concessionaires, HPARD co-sponsored events, etc.

If security is required, community center rental reservation forms and payment must be received in the Permits Office a minimum of 14 days prior to the scheduled event, which includes private functions, birthday parties, showers, weddings, family reunions, family gatherings, meetings, special events, etc.

Welcome to Houston’s “Best Golfing Value.” Sharpstown Golf Course has earned this reputation by providing outstanding customer service and excellent facility conditions, while offering some of the lowest fees in the gulf coast area.

Improvements at Sharpstown include new cart paths, improved drainage, and reconstructed bunkers, tees and lakes. A new fleet of electric golf cars also arrived in 2012. The 18 hole, par 70 course has implemented four (4) sets of tees, allowing moderate degree of difficulty for the novice and beginner, yet enough length (6660 from the back tees) to test the avid and skilled player.

Sharpstown’s amenities include a driving cage for practice or warming up, two (2) putting greens, a chipping green, full service pro shop, café and beverage cart, and golf professionals who are available for lessons. Tee-times are now available (7) days per week on-line and/or automated phone system. Sharpstown Golf Course is located in the heart of southwest Houston, one (1) mile west of HWY 59 and just one block north of Bellaire Blvd. on Harbor Town Drive. Sharpstown’s convenient location allows for quick access from anywhere in the greater Houston area.
