BEWARE OF SCAMS: There is a rumor circulating that FEMA is giving Texans $800 in food vouchers. This is false. They not providing vouchers but they are accepting applications for assistance.

Over the past few days, in response to the water and food crisis stemming from the recent winter storm, our office and other elected officials, as well as non-profits and community leaders, stepped up to provide food and water supplies to our community.

Houston Water is desperately trying to identify main system leaks across the city. For every MAIN SYSTEM water leak reported to 3-1-1 by the community, Houston Public Works leadership will donate $1 to the Houston Water Fund. Our goal is at least $5,000.
