Neighborhood Matching Grant Program Community Workshop this evening at Sharpstown Community Center

Community Workshop: City of Houston Neighborhood Matching Grant Program

City Council approved a $50,000 budget amendment to re-establish the City of Houston Neighborhood Matching Grant Program. Neighborhood Matching Grant Program

The Neighborhood Matching Grant Program (NMGP) helps neighborhoods fund various beautification and improvements projects by providing dollar-for-dollar matching grant reimbursement ranging from $500 to $3,000. The program is designed to cultivate the spirit of volunteerism. The City of Houston's Department of Neighborhoods is hosting three workshops dedicated to the NMGP. Funds are very limited, so I strongly encourage our District A community leaders to attend one of the workshops.
